Chrysler Group and General Motors reported higher November sales today, with Detroit's smallest automaker posting its biggest year-over-year monthly gain -- 45 percent -- of the year.

DETROIT -- General Motors and Chrysler Group reported higher October sales today, with Chrysler posting its fifth consecutive gain of 20 percent or more.
Chrysler said its U.S. sales increased 27 percent last month, with retail volume climbing 40 percent. It was the 19th consecutive monthly increase in U.S. sales for Chrysler.
