Ah yes, the Nürburgring. Where else would you expect to find the forthcoming BMW M6 Gran Coupe? Well, other than on the BMW stand the Paris Motor Show in September or Cobo Hall next January.
While we've already seen spy photos of the big 560-plus-horsepower sedan, 6post.com has snagged footage of the M6 Gran Coupe squealing tires and clipping apexes with some of its siblings on everyone's favorite German road.

BMW has announced it is recalling a whopping 1.3 million 5 Series and 6 Series vehicles from the 2003 to 2010 model years. Of those, Reuters notes that some 368,000 examples were sold in the U.S. – most of them sedans like the one above.

It is Confirmed: there will be an extended BMW 3-series for the Chinese car market. It is called ’3Li’ and will be made by the Brilliance-BMW joint venture. Its wheelbase is about 4 inches longer than the standard-wheelbase 3-series. It will be the first generation BMW 335-engine made in China.

Sources indicate a couple of reasons for that: First, the new 3 Series (pictured above in M Sport guise) on which it'll be based has so far has only come out in sedan form. Second, because the next-gen M3 is anticipated to lose some of its edge. Which would be a shame, but there's a far more straightforward reason than either of those two: there will be no coupe or convertible M3 from here on out.
BMW has announced that production of the sixth-generation 3 Series has officially begun at its Munich manufacturing facility. According to Autoblog sources, the touring variant of the F30 3 Series will likely land on European shores within the next year, with the coupe and convertible versions arriving in late 2013. All four models – sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon – will be available in the U.S. when they arrive, but for the time being, the two-door and five-door versions of the E90/E92
