Powered by a 3.7-liter V-6 that produces over 267 horse power @ 268 lbs of torque.
The 2010 Lincoln MKT is equipped with a six speed paddle-shift transmission with optional EcoBoost that provides over 350 horses out of the 3.7-liter V-6. EcoBoost released by Ford back in 2007 as Twin-Force offers a combination of small low-inertia turbo’s that provide a fuel economy boost without any loss of performance.
The Twin-Force name was changed to EcoBoost because it emphasizes the efficiency aspects of the Technology not just the power. EcoBoost comes standard with the all wheel drive models that offer 20 inch wheels. The well equipped 2010 Lincoln MKT tips the scales at over 5200 pounds and doesn’t offer a V8 like most of its competitors. Ford has not confirmed the price as of yet but Lincoln says that the 2010 Lincoln MKT will be in the same range as the $41,750 Acura MDX and the $44,325 Audi Q7.
