Last weeks pre-release of the 2011 Chevy Volt photos were supposedly an accident but this week release give us a look at what we will see inside the Chevy Volt. It is supposed to resemble some futuristic car, with no gauge cluster. MUNICH -- Porsche’s Hostel takeover of Volkswagen is a ploy to take over Audi. Porsche holds 35.14 percent of Volkswagen. Automakers in the US saw another painful slide in sales in August and the chances for a government aid plan are getting better. As of today Ford is finding it harder to find eligible employees to except the buyout it has offered. Ford group vice president of global manufacturing and labor affairs Joe Hinrich blames the failing economy on making it harder for people to retire early. Ford states it had targeted almost 8,000 buyouts for this year, but have seen little to no response from the older employees, a dramatic decrease from the 34,000 employees that took the buyout in its first wave in 2006.

Ford Motor Co., is attempting to tread water and make it though these rough times, there sales are down 26 percent over last year to 151,021 vehicles. Lower demand for SUVs and trucks account for much of Ford's August sales decline. Ford said SUV sales dipped 53 percent over last year, while trucks were down 39 percent over a year ago.
