We have heard all the raves about the new Corvette ZR1 and how fast and great it is! So far all the reviews have come from GM sponsored Corvette people. I will now give you a non bias version of the same test drive,
Have you ever heard of Stupid Fast? That is what this car is!
It accelerates on a dime and handles like a brick; I must say they have improved everything from the last Z06 model. The weight distribution even seems better and overall handling on new Corvette is superb.
It brings me back to when I was 18 years old and I test drove my first Dodge Viper , It was a beast with little or no control , it trembled like a scared little girl on prom night.. Awesome
The Corvette is exactly the same without the trembling effect, I can see that they built a quality car that is drivable everyday, unlike other sports cars priced well over the Corvette’s.
There are only two cars that I consider exotic and can be driven everyday.
That is the Porsche 911 and the Chevy Corvette.. Please check the last time you saw Lamborghini win a race, Oah sorry they don’t even have a race team!!
They also demand huge amounts of care by a mechanic every 2,000 miles, and oil changes that cost well over $4,000.00, go figure….
Over all it the ZR1 Corvette is a very nice car that is f#%&ing fast, the price is high but you can drive it everyday
I just believe they could have changed the design a little; I don’t practically like the current body style, just subtle changes.
The Price! Should be in the 80’s not 100’s (600hp Dodge Viper $88,000) same stats!

I would not buy it but it was a blast to drive…. Go Vette!!
