2009 Cadillac CTS coupe, and the CTS-V 550 HP
Cadillac took the wraps off the CTS Coupe concept at the Detroit auto show on Monday, a car meant to show what the CTS coupe will look like.
The CTS Coupe has the same wheelbase as the CTS sedan but is 4 inches shorter in height. The concept shares the sedan's instrument panel, console, headlamps, front fenders and grille.
The concept is designed to fit both the 304 hp, 3.6-liter direct-injection V6, as well as a new 2.9-liter turbodiesel GM has under development. That engine will produce in the neighborhood of 250 hp.
The CTS Coupe-V will debuted in late 2009 with 6.2L supercharged V-8 Popping out 550+ Hp, An estimated 0 to 60 in under 3.9 sec. can you say Quick! lets wait and see, I guessing it's not a gas conservative rocket!
The production CTS coupe should hit the market within a year according to GM sources, who add that a CTS wagon should be out within a year as well.
