Ford recalling diesel trucks, vans
A bad crankshaft sensor in diesel engines is forcing Ford Motor Co. to recall about 1.2 million heavy-duty pickups and vans.
If the sensor on the 7.3-liter diesel fails, the engine could quit running.
The recall covers F series Super Duty pickups, E series vans and Excursion SUVs from the 1997 through 2003 model years.
