Buy a car and get a briefcase, watch, pocket knife, sunglasses, pen, and keyring for free. That's the deal with the launch of the Porsche Design Edition 1 of the Cayman S.

Exactly 777 of the two-seaters will be built by the German firm. The car has been developed in conjunction with Porsche Design Studio, created by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche 35 years ago. It's now a top international industrial style firm working on luxury items and consumer goods. And because of that each car comes with the briefcase of unusual extras.

The Design Edition 1 is only available finished in black. Inside there's leather and Alcantara upholstery, and special center console, fascia, and door trims, all finished in black. The Porsche badge is embossed on the seat headrests.

The car is still powered by the same 3.4-liter, 295-hp engine. However, it rides 0.39 in lower than the standard Cayman S, and axle spacers and 19-inch alloys give it a purposeful stance on the road. Porsche Active Suspension Management automatically controls the firmness of the damping, though at the push of a button Sport mode offers an even more dynamic drive.

In Britain the special edition will cost the equivalent of $100,000, but there's no word on U.S. availability.
